If you couldn’t make the May 22 End-of-the-Year Gathering at Wesleyan, here is what you missed!
*Michael Tablada shared AMAZING ceramics hacks. Including how to NOT blow up your artwork -- his foolproof method will leave you worry-free as you leave the kiln cooking for the night. *Amy Story and Ashley Schick shared about the new website and event buttons. *We also had a wonderful tour of Wesleyan’s Fine Arts Building and it is incredible. From Michael Tablada’s 3D studio to Whiney painting studio, to every nook and cranny a showcase for student artwork left everyone with new ideas for their classrooms. *Last but not least, the lively, exuberant, unparalleled, second-to-none demonstration by the Great Steve Shaw on paint pouring! If you missed this, however, you are in luck because here is a link to a video where he explains his secret method of creating cells in you your paint pours. https://acrylicpouring.com/author/steve-shaw/ |
